Emendo steam meter is made from Finnish heat-treated aspen. The heat-treated wood is particularly well-suited to moist rooms. Thanks to the treatment, the wood keeps its form and will not rot. The beautiful shades of color which it has received in the heat can be protected by oiling the meter.
