Through use, the wood around the flame input forms a thin layer of carbon which acts as an insulator and prevents further burning. How to Use:
While Vapman use can come with a slight learning curve, we find that with a little instruction most users can have successful extraction from their first session. The Vapman doesn't provide temperature feedback (like DynaVap's 'click') requiring users to pay attention to the vapor taste and density in order to adjust temperatures.
To load, twist the Vapman upper to remove and expose the bowl. Then insert the metal filling funnel to ensure all of your herbal material makes it in the bowl (and your device stays clean). Scoop in your preferred amount of ground materials; one of the Vapman's specialties is microdosing so no need to overfill. Re-attach the upper and begin heating by pointing the blue flame tip at the golden bowl tip. Then alternate heating and inhaling to extract your material at your preferred speed and temperature. We prefer starting each session with a 3 second heat up, 3 second cool down, then another 3 second heat up followed by a light inhale. This preheats the bowl and allows users to customize temperatures based on feedback from the initial inhale.
We recommend cleaning all new extraction devices to ensure there are no residual oils from manufacturing.
Cleaning:
One of our favorite aspects of Vapman devices is how minimal maintenance they require. Make sure to empty the bowl while warm and give a quick brush to ensure all residual material is removed. If you notice any restriction in airflow users can clean the air holes in the bowl with a toothpick.
